Pullen ’25 was great on the mound for Cate. He went 5 and 2/3 innings, surrendered 5 earned runs, and struck out 6. Josh Butler ’26 came on in relief to close the game out. Alex Ke ’27 had a tremendous catch in left field on the day. The Rams weren’t on their game defensively, committing 4 errors to go along with a few mental errors as well.

Just like Monday, this game felt much, much closer than the score let on. We had a lead in the 4th inning and were tied in the 5th inning. We gave a very good team too many opportunities to beat us today, which isn’t something we can do if we want to contend and win games in the postseason. This team has come so far this season and I can’t wait to see how we do come playoff time. I have all the confidence in the world in this team; it has been a blast to be with them on the field every day!

The Rams will find out their playoff draw on Monday, April 29th at 10 am.
