What is the Cate Fund?

The Cate Fund is the School’s most important fundraiser each year. It refers to gifts that are made yearly or as part of a multi-year pledge arranged between the donor and the school. The Cate Fund accounts for ten percent of our yearly operating budget. Our budget is designed to provide each Cate student with an unparalleled education in a dynamic living-learning environment.

The School uses donations for faculty professional development, academic resources and supplies, yearly facility improvements, equipment and technology purchases, financial aid and scholarships, and extracurricular expenses. Gifts made to the Cate Fund also allow the School to seize exciting opportunities and be prepared for unforeseen challenges.

From leadership to participation gifts, and everything in between, we are grateful for all gestures of support to the School. The Cate Fund runs from July 1 to June 30. If you have questions, are interested in becoming a Cate Fund volunteer, or would like to make a donation, please contact Alison Hansen, Director of Mesa Association Giving at alison_hansen@cate.org.
