“Desmond” a drawing by Emily Zhang ’17 won a silver key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

We’ll have an arts bonanza over Family Weekend and we so hope you’ll be here to enjoy any and all of it. Whether your preference is big band jazz, musical theater, rock n’ roll, chamber music or vocal performance, we’ve got you covered indoors and out. Vice President at Quincy Jones Productions, Adam Fell ’99 visited the Mesa and spoke to students in the Business of Music class. Adam shared his experiences in the music industry managing artists, working with startups, and capitalizing on the new models of music streaming and touring.

Art Relay, the cooperative, two-week-long art making event ended this week. Participants in the relay use the previous artist’s work as a prompt for their piece. The assembled pieces will be featured in a gallery this spring.
