Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed quality time with your children over the holidays. It’s hard to believe we are in 2017, but with this new year ahead of us, it’s now time to get back to work!
CPO has lots of plans in the works for the coming weeks! Mark your calendars for Cate’s Winter Formal which will be held on Saturday, February 11. The theme is “the Roaring 20’s” and our co-chairs are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with help setting-up and decorating. If you can spare some time, roll up your sleeves with us on Friday February 10 from 2-5 p.m. and Saturday, February 11 from 10-4 p.m. Please contact Tracey Reif at traceyreif81@gmail.com or

As you know, we are always thankful for the incredible teachers at Cate. Our Faculty Appreciation team will sponsor a Valentine’s Day themed “Cheese & Chocolate” evening held on Sunday, February 12. Anyone interested in helping out or donating some chocolate, please contact Gay Browne at gay@greenopia.com.
And for those of you who will be in the San Francisco area next week, Cate will host a reception on Wednesday, January 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Olympic Club. Also, a Cate reception in Austin, Texas will take place on Tuesday, January 24 from 6-8 p.m. hosted by Holly Lawson ’90. All parents are welcome to attend these receptions. It’s a great way to mingle with fellow Cate parents and alums and to catch up on all things Cate! Please contact Sarah Preston at sarah_preston@cate.org if you are able to attend.

CPO loves to spread the joy of keeping our kids and teachers happy at Cate, and there are so many ways to volunteer.
