Life at Cate

Servons

Our motto is Servons, French for “Let us serve,” is embedded to everything we do here at Cate. There is no service requirement at Cate, yet from chores in the dorm to Public Service Nights every Wednesday to our Senior Servons Speeches, students learn to step up in this community for each other. Learn about our service here.

Heath and Wellness

At Cate, student health is our top priority. At Ellis House, Cate’s Health Center, we have a full medical staff as well as two counselors on staff to meet student needs as they arise. Explore Health and Wellness here.

Boarding and Residential Experience:

With Pacific and mountain views from your dorm room, the Mesa is an incredible place to call home. Our students build community in the dorm and through our boarding programming. Explore our boarding experience here.

Day Students:

Day students make up over 20% of our student population. Day students are encouraged to participate in all elements of the school, including all meals, stay for evening study hours, and to join for all weekend student activities. Explore the day student experience here.
