Cate track and field is marked by a long history of success.
Students have the ability train and compete in a variety of events each spring. Competing in CIF Division IV gives the Rams an opportunity to compete against many of the best runners in the country right here in California.
The team runs in the Frontier League at state-of-the-art facilities all season long. A highlight for students each year is competing in the Russell Cup, one of the longest running small-school invitationals in the entire country.
Held right here in Carpinteria, the Russell Cup brings together runners from over 50 schools to compete in the state’s longest running high school meet. It allows all Cate athletes a chance to see how they measure up against the best competition possible, while working hard to achieve their own personal best marks.
