Wade comes to Cate School with over 10 years experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. After working in various areas of Physical Therapy, he shifted his focus to sports medicine in 2004. While pursuing his graduate degree, he completed a two-year clinical assignment at The Lawrenceville School in his native New Jersey. In addition, Wade spent time during the 2006 season as an intern with the New York Jets of the National Football League.
After earning his Certified Athletic Trainer credentials in 2006, Wade taught at Seton Hall University's School of Graduate Medical Education. He also served in the Department of Sports Medicine as athletic trainer for the swimming and diving, track and field, and softball teams during the 2007 season. In June of 2007, he was selected to present a case study to the Collegiate Athletic Training Society at the National Athletic Trainers Association annual symposium.
Here on the Mesa, Wade is the Director of Athletics, responsible for student athlete competition and exercise programs. Wade also serves as dorm head in High house, where he currently resides with his wife, Jana and daughter Rachel.
