Yesterday, our Cate boys varsity water polo team traveled to Nordhoff HS for our first league match of the season. We jumped out to an early lead and controlled the flow of the game for four quarters.

Coach’s Take

It feels good to get our league schedule underway with a solid road win. I was proud of the focus,  execution, and positive representation our guys showed yesterday. Eric Gan, Sam Kellogg, and Henry Hicks all had big contributions. Offensively, our group was composed and found quality looks late in the shot clock. Defensively, we looked sharp, playing physically without fouling. We look forward to a battle with Malibu this Friday at home.
