Yesterday, our Cate boys varsity water polo team hosted Thousand Oaks HS for our fourth non-league match of the year. We jumped out to a 7-1 early lead and neverlooked back.

Coach’s Take

Another strong showing for our group. Our team defense continues to create counterattack opportunities early and often. I love the way we continue to make the extra pass in transition to look for not the first, but our best scoring opportunities. Once we were in the frontcourt, Maddox Tanaka played a great game as a facilitator, dishing out several key assists. Our biggest test of the season is just around the corner. I am excited to see how we show up.
