BVS Puts 9 Past Dunn

Your Cate Rams wrapped up league play today when we traveled to Los Olivos to face the Dunn Earwigs. See below for today’s starting 11. Today’s match was a lopsided contest with lots of goals from your Rams so instead of my usual write up, I’ll provide a quick summary and stats instead.

We came out of the gates aggressive, poised , and ready to put our opponent away early and we did exactly that. George had a very productive day and opened up the score sheet in the 4th minute to score his first of four goals in the half. Alex converted a PK in the 33rd minute that gave your Rams a 5-0 lead at the half.

In the second half, Teke got on the scoreboard in the 43rd minute, George added two more for a total of six goals in the day, and Natahn Koh scored his first goal of the season to give us a 9-0 victory.

Every single player that was healthy and available to play today got some valuable minutes and contributed to today’s victory.

We’ve had a very busy week and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to rest some players and give minutes to others. We now look ahead to our last game of the regular season next Tuesday when we’ll host our rivals Thacher at 3:30 on Senior Day @ Meldman Field. We hope to have a big turn out for the match and our special post match ceremony. We hope to see you there.
