Alena Ballat had an outstanding start to her Junior season, tallying a career high of five goals on the day. She was dominant in two meters from the start of the game, creating great separation and putting away her opportunities in the back of the cage. She also notched an assist and two takeaways. Violet Monda also had a terrific all-around game for us. She stuffed the stat sheet, finishing the game with two goals, two assists, and three takeaways. Her experience and athleticism were on full display, as she made plays all game on both ends of the pool. In her first water polo game of her career, Amber Lam got the nod as starting goalkeeper and racked up a staggering 13 saves. She was incredible, stopping nearly half of her shots from within five meters. Quick hands and great positioning in the net enabled her to be successful throughout the game.
We had contributions from everyone who saw the pool. It was a great way to start the season. Looking ahead, we travel to Royal High School this Thursday for another non-league game before departing for Thanksgiving break. Go Rams!
