Cate Volleyball Continues Winning Run

Cate Volleyball played against Villanova Prep tonight at home.

Cates serving and offense sparked early, leading the Rams into an advantage that held up throughout the first set, winning 25-16. The second set was a similar game, with Cate taking the lead and maintaining it throughout. The 3rd set had several lead changes and back and forth rallies before Cate closed out the match with a 25-23 victory.

“We were able to beat a solid team without passing very well, which was pretty impressive. Our play at the net helped separate us in the middle of the game and our middles got established themselves early. We scored a lot of points on the service line and ultimately found ways to finish the game.” said coach Jordon Dyer.

Cate’s last regular season match will be at home vs St Bonaventure and it will also be senior night.
