Jade Wang continued her unbeaten streak at line 2 in league play, while Claire Tang also went undefeated on the day at line 3.
In doubles, Elsie Chamberlain and Edie Abbott went 2-1, while Gwendi Rogers also finished 2-1 on the day, partnering with Reyna Takahashi (1-0) and Riya Mitera (1-1).
Coach Thorpe’s Comments:
Thacher gave us some great doubles competition again today, battling for the first poach move at net, which is something we still need to be working on daily. I was happy with the way the team performed, especially down a few starters today, but when there’s strawberry shortcake from Boccali’s waiting just down the road, it’s always pretty easy to count on the girls to take care of business!
