Rams Open Season at TCAA Preview Meet

Yesterday, the Runnin’ Rams had their first opportunity to show off their fitness at the TCAA League Preview in Ventura.

The day got underway with our JV boys running the two-mile course. Ian Kim was our top finisher, placing fifth overall in a time of 13:10.

The varsity girls competed on the three-mile course, and first-year runner Carmen Lack led the way, finishing 8th overall. Carmen was followed by Sofie Ridgway (11th), Posie Hexner (12th), Mimi Power (13th), and Michelle Wu (14th). The team placed second overall.

The final race of the day was the varsity boys race, also on the three-mile course. Junior Ati Zwieback took control of the race early and cruised to victory, finishing in a time of 16:51. Bruce Li, Jordan Ryan, Miles Williams, and Jackson Muller all finished in the top 20, propelling the team to a second-place finish behind a deep and talented Foothill Tech squad that was running in their fourth meet of the year.

The Rams will compete again on October 8th at the Twilight Invitational at Lake Casitas.
