Cate Volleyball Sweeps Nordhoff at Home

Cate hosted Nordhoff tonight and came away with a strong 3-0 victory. The Rams started fast, using aggressive serving to take control of the first set 25-16. The second set was tighter, with both teams battling through the middle, but Cate managed a few key second-effort points to close it out 25-22. In the third set, Cate jumped to a 10-2 lead and never looked back, finishing the match 25-11.

“It was great to see one of our senior captains, Fallon Erickson, back in action—she opened the match with an ace and played some fantastic volleyball,” said coach Jordon Dyer. “Senior Oyin Opawumi led the team with 13 kills, while senior Elise Tsai contributed 13 assists. Senior Coco Kliman added 6 kills with zero errors, and seniors Emerson Evans and Evangeline Little combined for 3 aces. Our team took care of business and showed up across the board—well done, Cate!”
