Swimming vs La Renia

On Wednesday, April 5, the Cate girls’ swim team came up short in their dual meet against La Reina. Varsity started out strong with a win in the 200 Medley Relay comprised of Halie Straathof ’17, Tilly Bates ’18, Marissa Strauss ’20 and Ella Hendricks ’19.

Ava Weinstein ’20 quickly followed with a win in the JV 200 Free. Molly Dorion ’18 took the next win in the JV 50 Free. Straathof ’17 finished with an easy win in the Varsity 50 Free. Maddie Goodman ’18, Dorion ’18, Izzy Dewell ’20 and Weinstein ’20 finished the meet together with a win in the JV girls 400 Free Relay.

The Rams hit the pool next on Wednesday, April 12 against Nordhoff. That meet will be at Cate and will start at 3pm.
