Why Cate?

Zach is a junior from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

I'm from Saudi Arabia. Being from a place so far away, finding a place that could act not only
as a school, but a home as well, was very important to me. I enjoy sports of all kinds, especially
baseball, and Cate has given me the opportunity to continue pursuing interests, as well as
adventuring out and trying new things. In the past two years I have been exposed to SCUBA
diving and football; now they have become two of my favorite activities. What I love about Cate
is the diversity of the people who surround you. These people constantly inspire, encourage, and
expose you to new things. Because of these people, the vibe on the Mesa is always a good one,
with peers, teachers, and teammates all to thank. I have never been to a place where people are
as openly generous and kind as they are at Cate.
