The 76 seniors in Cate's Class of 2012 will be attending more than 44 different colleges and universities  next year-- with 72 percent of the class heading to institutions designated by the Barron's college guide as "most competitive."

The list begins with schools more than one Cate senior has chosen for matriculation.
