Headmaster Benjamin D. Williams IV has announced the appointment of Sarah E. Kidwell as Cate's new Director of Marketing and Communications. Ms. Kidwell, a former television news producer, comes to the Mesa from Brown University, where she has served since 2007 as a media relations specialist and Director of News and Communications.

Speaking over the cheering throngs of Cate School students and faculty who gathered in the Raymond Commons to witness the historic event, Headmaster Williams cut the blue ribbon on the School's new softserve frozen yogurt machine, declaring "This is for yogurt-loving Rams everywhere."

Students serving on Cate's Round Square committee have selected Jose Esqueda '12, Danielle Gray '14 and Annie Weis '12 to attend the first Round Square global conference Cate will attend since the School was named a full global member of the organization in early April.
