Convocations

On Monday evenings, you dress in formal attire for a weekly Convocation, which features student performances, outside lecturers and artists, singers, and dancers.

You might hear from a deep sea explorer, a sociologist, or a spoken word poet.

After Convocation, head to Raymond Commons for a formal sit-down meal for students and faculty.

Seating assignments vary week to week to give you a chance to meet new people on campus and discuss the night’s talk or performance, or life in general on the Mesa.

Nuclear strategist Dr. Brad Roberts '72 spoke to the community during Convocation about threats to national security and the complex issues surrounding nuclear weapons.
