Although I am a senior here at Cate and beginning my fourth year as a student, this is actually my 18th year at Cate. Both of my parents are teachers here, and I was born and raised on this campus. During my application process there was no question that Cate was the place I wanted to spend the next four years of my life. My experience here has been indescribable, and far beyond anything I expected and hoped for. Cate has everything to offer, and from playing volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse to all the weekend activities and outdoor trips, I've never been bored here. Being a tour guide is one of the most rewarding activities since all I have to do is explain to new families how incredible this place is. Without a doubt my favorite thing about Cate is the people and the way we really are one big family. Being in a community like this has allowed me to put myself out there and try things I never would have tried before. Stretching my comfort zone has been extremely rewarding, and I can't wait to spend my final year here in this amazing community.
