This year I live in the Long House dorm again where freshman girls and some sophomore girls live. Last year, my favorite class was French class with Mr. Pouye, who is from Senegal, Africa. I learned a lot of the basic things in French, and I look forward to  enhancing my French-speaking skills as this year goes on. Track and field is my favorite sport; last year we had a very successful season. I chose Cate School because the campus is just beautiful and it felt like such a positive environment to live in. Being here has taught me so much. For instance, one of the many things I have learned is how to manage my time wisely, and how to handle work loads in a less stressful way. I have also had the opportunity to meet so many new and amazing people. Had I not come to Cate, I wouldn’t have a sense of some of the different cultures from around the world. In my opinion, Cate characterizes selflessness, friendship, kindness, and family. My Cate experience so far has been great!
