Community Service

Haddon works with a student at Canalino Elementary School in Carpinteria during Public Service Day, a day during which the Cate Community heads into town to help over 30 organizations.

 

The Cate motto is Servons—let us serve—and support for others is a fundamental way of life at the School. Cate gives students opportunities to serve both locally and globally.

There are several established programs that allow students to get involved with the community. At least once a week, a contingent of students travel to local group homes, schools, and non-profit organizations to lend a hand. Once a year, students and faculty dedicate the better part of their day to over 30 organizations, from the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens to Canalino Elementary School.
