Health

The Cate Health Center is staffed by registered nurses, including one in residence, and is open twenty-four hours a day.  In addition, a local pediatrician comes to campus for appointments every week.  Nurses schedule additional medical appointments when needed, and all emergencies are dealt with immediately.  All faculty members receive annual training infirst aid and CPR.

Cate’s Director of Counseling Services lives on campus and meets individually with students to help them deal effectively with personal challenges. Students can seek counseling on their own or can be referred by their parents or a member of the faculty.
