Health

The Cate Health Center is staffed by registered nurses, including one in residence, and has a nurse available twenty-four hours a day.  In addition, a local physician comes to campus for appointments every week.  Nurses schedule additional medical appointments when needed, and all emergencies are dealt with immediately.  All faculty members receive annual training infirst aid and CPR.

Cate’s Director of Counseling Services meets individually with students to help them deal effectively with personal challenges. Students can seek counseling on their own or can be referred by their parents or a member of the faculty.
