The Chore Program is designed to give students a chance to help with day-to-day maintenance of the campus, and, in the process, gain a sense of ownership in the School’s physical plant, which they use intensively for nine months of the year. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors participate in the program. Unlike in the early days of Mr. Cate’s Work Program, when the Pig and Rabbit Clubs were providing entrées for the evening dinners, today’s students engage in light tasks that support the on-going maintenance of the school.
