Teaching assistants, selected from the senior class, play a key role as facilitators, group leaders and peer counselors in the Human Development Department’s freshman and sophomore seminars. Teaching assistants meet weekly to receive training in group leadership and counseling. They lead discussions, prepare presentations for class, and look out for the general welfare of the students in their groups.
In everything we do, we are guided by Cate's Honor Code:
"On my honor, I pledge:
to be truthful;
to show respect for all members of the Cate community and their property;
to complete my work honorably without giving or receiving unauthorized help."
