All students at Cate are required to study a foreign language through the completion of a third-year course. Students can take Chinese, French, Japanese, or Spanish. The courses are designed so that students will acquire the skills necessary to communicate effectively and work towards fluency in the language of their choosing. The classes are rigorous and emphasize participation right from the start.
